View Systems Stock Soars 60% As Sannabis Prepares for Site Visit

One of the stocks that emerged as one of the major gainers this past Friday was that of View Systems, Inc. common stock (OTCMKTS:VSYM). On Friday, the stock rallied by as much as 60%, and due to the sort of gains made by the company, it might be worthwhile for investors to perhaps take a closer look at the stock.

Seed Bank Facility near Popayan-CAUCA

The company is involved in the security and surveillance industry and offers its products to law enforcement agencies as well as to other entities. Correctional institutions, courthouses, schools, businesses, the military, and government agencies are also its clients. Here is a closer look at why the stock rallied so strongly on Friday.

This past Friday, View Systems announced a significant development with regardsto its subsidiary Sannabis S.A.S. The company announced that the Colombian Institute of Agriculture (ICA) is going to visit the site of the Seed Propagation Facility at Popayan-CAUCA on July 30. The ICA will inspect the said facility and provide recommendations to Sannabis, which it can incorporate in a span of 60 days.

Once that is done, the approval process for the seed use license will start. It should be noted that the application for the Seed Use License had been made by Sannabis prior to the deadline of December 31, 2018, for new licenses. No more applications were accepted for a Seed Use License after that date.

It is believed that a Seed Use License in Columbia is perhaps one of the most potentially lucrative and coveted marijuana licenses in the world. It is also important to keep in mind that Sannabis has been working in the top marijuana-growing region in Columbia named Cuaca for more than two decades now.

One of the particular strains of marijuana that grows in the region is now famous all over the world due to a popular documentary. If the company does manage to get the license, then it is going to be a huge milestone for View Systems. The rally in the stock this past Friday was hence understandable. It remains to be seen if the View Systems stock can further add to its gains this week.

However, that is not the only positive development with regards to View Systems and its cannabis subsidiary Sannabis. Back in June, the company released the specifics of its work from home program. The program in question has been created with the currently out of work professionals in mind.

The company launched the program with a view to signing up thousands of such professionals to their direct sales network. The move is aimed at boosting the company’s sales figures, and the news was welcomed warmly by investors as well.
